Our Story
40 Years of Service
For 40 years, LifeNet4Families has stood as a lifeline for Broward County residents experiencing hunger, homelessness, and extreme hardship. Each day, hundreds of individuals and families walk through our doors seeking more than a meal — they seek hope, stability, and a pathway home.
Based in Lauderhill, Florida, we are intentionally transitioning from being perceived primarily as a feeding program to a holistic provider of pathways to dignity, stability, and reintegration.
At the heart of our mission is a simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive. Through compassion, collaboration, and innovation, we help turn crisis into stability, and stability into reintegration.

Leadership
Meet our President & CEO
Denise Brown is a seasoned non-profit executive with 18 years of direct service experience to underrepresented communities. An innovative and visionary leader, Ms. Brown possesses extensive business and management skills and demonstrated leadership ability.
She has worked with private, corporate and public sectors to provide strategic vision and direction in the areas of affordable housing, workforce development, food insecurity, health services and transportation.
She has a deep commitment to shared leadership and to a transparent and collaborative approach in the management of organizations. Her broad experience in leading and interacting with staff, volunteers, and diverse boards has ensured the provision of quality services to thousands of people and families.
